History-Name

The name labradorite derives from the Canadian Labrador province, due to its occurrence in this area, although it's actually mined in other areas as well. It is also known as plagioclase.

Labradorite has been used in decorative objects and has been considered to be a good luck stone.


Healing Properties - Metaphysical

Labradorite is considered to be a strong protective stone. It protects the aura from unwanted energies and prevents positive energy's leakages. It's a mystical stone that helps the initiand during initiation ceremonies.
