A sophisticated tapered band ring made in 22K solid gold and sterling silver, decorated with engraved Byzantine motifs on the hoop, twisted wire strands and an engraved oxidized silver cross on the mounting of the ring.
Inscription reads: IC XC NI KA symbol (IC XC for "Jesus Christ" and NI KA for "conquers"), the Byzantine symbol also known as "En Touto Nika" ("in this be victorious" or the Latin equivalent "in hoc signo vinces").
The ring measures 1.42 cm (0.56") at its maximum and 1 cm (0.39") at its minimum.
