From the designer Savati collection, a sterling silver reversible flip cross ring with Byzantine palindrome inscription.
The palindrome phrase: "NIPSON ANOMEMATA ME MONAN OPSIN" meaning "Wash the sins not only the face" is circularly engraved in Greek fonts.
This phrase was originally inscribed upon a holy water font outside the Hagia Sophia church in Constantinople. When read in its original form in Greek fonts as in the ring's engraving, it's a palindrome phrase.
The back side of the ring is decorated with engraved floral Byzantine motifs.
